My client is a leader in the business intelligence software space. Nasdaq listed, my company has a global presence around the world and is within the top 100 software companies globally. Due to heavy growth there is an opening for a new business development manager to join the team.

In this role, your objective will be to develop and grow existing client relationships by demonstrating a customer focus, identify and closing new business opportunities.

To be successful, you will have had experience and a proven track record of success in a new business 'hunting' role. Although it is ideal to have a software sales background my client will consider sharp, hungry, corporate professionals from other industries as well. The focus is on Financial markets or Insurance market, have you sold into either? 

Your strong communication and presentation skills, demonstrated skills in negotiation and leadership, as well as your high degree of solution sales ability will be key to moving forward in this opportunity.
