Business development role - B2B sales experience needed
14 staff team - 6 in sales - one in all in mentality
$50k base + super + comms ($20K) + travel
Without doubt the events and exhibitions industry is fast paced, challenging, diverse, creative, rewarding, progressive, character building and down right exciting. Right now I have 2 clients - both in the consumer and trade events space looking for versatile sales people with a flair for the industry. Whilst your primary role is sales, be prepared to have it encompass marketing, operations, on site management, production and venue management.
We really are looking for character - an outgoing personality, drive, ambition, flexibility, team orientation will be the key factors for what we are looking for. Previous experience in the events, conference or exhibitions industry will be highly regarded. We are open to looking at people from all levels of experience.
ROLE : A Sales Executive with New Business focus.
Ability to pick up the phone and use your excellent B2B sales skills.
An understanding of the Trade / Industry Exhibitions industry - key players, sponsors, floor space etc.
A team focus - be part of a close knit, supportive, social team (yes, they like to have a good time!)
