A very rare opportunity has recently become available for a Sydney based Retail Manager to relocate to Melbourne as Assistant Store Manager at my client's CBD flagship store. This international jewellery brand is looking for an experienced manager with a background in luxury goods retailing to drive sales and service in their fine jewellery department.
Jewellery experience is not essential but would certainly be desirable - training will be given. You will be used to be managing a portfolio of high end customers who will be spending a considerable amount of money with you - so service levels must be of the highest, as should your personal presentation and communication skills. It is essential that you have come from a retail background like this. You should also have a number of years retail management experience - this is not the role for a salesperson looking for the next step. I am looking for a career retailer who thrives on working in a fast paced customer facing environment with a high end product range.
