The position of Channel Manager - Retail will be responsible for the achievement and over-achievement of sales targets within the retail and distribution channel. You will be responsible for developing and fostering long-term relationships to enhance the promotion of new product lines and grow existing range across major retail multiples in the consumer electronics and specialty market
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate sound commercial acumen with strong exposure to Business to Business and Business to Consumer experience gained in the consumer electronics space.
Working across a well recognised portfolio, your primary contacts will be based within some of Sydneys largest retail Head Offices. The product is exciting, constantly evolving and innovating to meet and exceed the constant demands of the electronics and data storage consumer market.
Key accountabilities include, but will not be limited to:
- Building, enhancing and up-selling business relationships with your key customers/accounts
- Analysis of sales reports, budgets, analysis of consumer trends and taking accountability for planning and forecasting.
- Working through channel strategies with the sales management and national account management teams at a National level.
A tertiary qualification in a related discipline would be advantageous, your senior account management and negotiation skills will stand you apart from the crowd.
