Due to continued growth this well established company require an experienced merchandise planner.

Responsibilities include:
Forecasting sales, planning replenishment and managing markdowns for over 5000 Sku's

• Ensure stock levels are at an optimal level by planning stock flow by month by department
• Planning experience within electrical's would be advantageous
• Planning, maintenance and analysis of replenishment system
• Monitor KPI's and make recommendations with buyer to resolve issues
• Manage open to buy (OTB's)
• Manage seasonal stocks - via strategic plans, ongoing in-season review and developing and implementing action plans
• Review and maintain the Rangeplan/assortment and plan replenishment/purchases in line with the OTB
• Reconcile and review OTB Budget on a monthly basis with the Planning Manager
• Produce weekly, monthly and quarterly reports for the Optical Team and Business (i.e. Stock Turn Analysis, In Stock Reports, and Financial Reports for the business) that highlight product and store opportunities or risks
• Development of reporting templates for Budget, support the Planning Manager in the Budgeting Process
• Manage excess stock through clearance markdowns, review product every 8 weeks with the Buyer to move aged stock
• Plan new store introductions and store closures
• Monitor the progress of department's first margin and profit objectives in consultation with buyers.
