This leading multi-national leader in their industry is seeking an Events specialist to join this growing team in the Sydney CBD. In this newly created position, you will be accountable for the following :- - Assist the Manager with development and implementation of annual program of events
- Research and identify relevant topics and expert speakers
- Attend all events to monitor participant feedback
- Assist Manager with in the development of the annual budget
- Assist Manager secure sponsorship revenue for events, advertising etc.
- Manage sponsor relationships
- Prepare promotional material for events
- Monitor marketing strategies and results to maximise event attendance
- Maintain events webpage and sponsorship register
To be successful in this newly created position with this reputable employer, you must :- - Possess 3-5 years experience in Events & Sponsorship in a corporate environment
- Have strong relationship development , retention and negotiation experience
- Possess excellent time / project management skills
- Have strong written skills
- Proven events research skills
- Be competent using MS Office
- Be professionally presented
- Have a strong attention to detail
