This newly created role sits within one of Telstra's most prestigious business units. Based in Sydney and reporting to the divisional marketing director, it is integral to developing and executing customer service marketing programmes and campaigns within an integrated marcoms strategy.
Your product is customer service, your methods are outcomes focussed and your goal is customer satisfaction. As a value merchant you will be responsible for identifying clear points of market differentiation and constructing value propositions that enhance and focus our customer service team's ability to communicate the benefits we deliver to our customers.. By liaising with functional areas within the business, from sales teams through to customer care, you will develop, target, disseminate and measure the success of high impact messages and campaigns through innovative communication and marketing approaches. Specific responsibilities include:
- Guiding and supporting customer focussed market research activity.
- Defining target audience needs and developing market requirement documents.
- Initiating and driving initiatives and projects (campaign management) across the entire range of customer service offerings.
- Leading effective messaging to communicate value of customer service.
- Articulating and disseminating Telstra services and market properties, internally and externally.
You will enhance the effectiveness and improve satisfaction within your stakeholder group which includes Customer Care, Sales and Marketing. It will require a hands on approach with a quick ability to leverage off existing initiatives.
Candidates will have a proven track record in product or services marketing to the enterprise or business market and project management, demonstrating a high level of business acumen with external clients. You will be a confident self starter with exceptional structuring and writing skills that produces compelling communications. Strong all round marketing experience with a relevant bachelor/degree is essential.
