Reporting directly to the Head of Research the successful candidate will deliver customer & market insights to key decision makers and provide actionable research to all parts of the business. The role offers research professionals an outstanding opportunity to develop and diversify their research experience.
Your Team will be tasked with planning, commissioning and executing qualitative & quantitative research plans & projects (continuous & ad hoc) both through commissioning agencies but also by undertaking in-house quantitative research. You will also provide market and competitor intelligence from databases, reports, and continuous market data. As a Manager you will drive the strategy and implement research across the business, it is important that you don't just have a 'research' background but are able to use insights to help influence, educate and shape the thinking of key personnel and so improve the development of strategies to meet customer needs.
As a Manager you will also be responsible for the professional development of a team of 3 researchers and analysts, ensuring business deadlines and budgets are met.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
• Ability to manage staff involved in multi-stage/multi-stakeholder projects.
• Highly proficient influencing skills with the ability to communicate complex messages across a range of stakeholders groups, including executive management
• Highly developed report writing and business writing skills.
• Research, analysis, planning and implementation experience in large corporate/agency
• Well developed business consulting skills - ability to analyse research findings and draw key insights and make recommendations.
• Advance Quantitative Stats facility - ability to understand the use of and interpret quantitative data.
