Account Manager

Our client is a full service market research consultancy with particular expertise in customised B2B executive research and syndicated multi-client studies. They provide Customised Research, Usage and Attitude Studies, Benchmarking, Brand Tracking, Multi-client Studies, Customer Satisfaction, Product Evaluation and Advertising Testing, and require an experienced Account Manager to drive and manage large scale customer satisfaction tracker projects. Key requirements of the job include: - Research Process Management
- Day-to-day project management of the research process
- Proposal submissions
- Research methodology development
- Overseeing of questionnaire design; sample definition; fieldwork
- Conducting in-depth interviews and focus groups if necessary
- Data analysis and interpretation
- Report preparation and presentation
- Quality & Budgetary control
Client and Supplier Management - Key client contact on a wide range of continuous and ad-hoc studies Client briefings
- Client relationship and account management
- Liaising with various stakeholders (clients, suppliers, management, other staff)
- Growing of existing client base & establishing of new business
Human Resource Management - Day-to-day management of research analysts
- Training, coaching and development of research analysts
General Management: - Participation and contribution to company strategic, business and marketing planning
- Management of the business if/when requested by the Directors
- Skills required:
- Experience in a wide range of research types and methodologies
- Experience across a wide range of industry sectors
- HR & Client relationship management skills
- Knowledge of statistical, research techniques & Project budgeting
- Excellent knowledge of SPSS, Excel and Power Point
Pre-requisites are: - Minimum 4 years Market Research experience
- Direct HR management experience
- Business Development experience
Other considerations: - Ideally experience on both the agency and client side of research supplying and buying
- Experience in IT and/or contact centre research would be beneficial
- A 'can-do' attitude, enthusiastic & meticulous attention to detail
