As a Media Officer you will provide media support and prepare media releases and articles for internal and external audiences, media scanning and identification of opportunities for positive media exposure, a sensitive approach is a must for this role.


The role requires a highly motivated, hard working and organised person,

Essential criteria

  • 3 years experience in media / journalism
  • government experience desirable
  • strong issues management experience  
  • excellent written communication skills 
  • exceptional attention to detail 
  • ability to work to deadlines and under pressure 
  • high level of initiative and independence 
  • team player 
  • highly developed computer skills 
  • Strong issues management skills

Mandatory to have a minimum of 2 years experience in a media role.
