As a senior media officer / manager you will provide media support / leadership and prepare media releases and articles for internal and external audiences, media scanning and identification of opportunities for positive media exposure, a sensitive approach is a must for this role. The role requires a highly motivated, hard working and organised person,
Essential criteria
- 6 years experience in media / journalism
- leadership experience
- government experience desirable
- strong issues management experience
- excellent written communication skills
- exceptional attention to detail
- ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
- high level of initiative and independence
- team player
- highly developed computer skills
- Strong issues management skills
