Afternoon Shift Coordinator - Production/Warehouse

With a strong presence in the building and construction industry our national client is looking for an experienced and motivated production and warehouse coordinator to supervise their afternoon shift.
Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees whilst at work
- Ensuring all staff are abiding by company OHS policies and contribute to a zero harm workplace
- Lead a team of charge hands in the production and warehouse areas ensuring efficiency and quality is maintained at all times
- Ensure production schedules and cost targets are met
- Ensuring all products are at a premium standard and are meeting customer demands
- Coordinate warehousing and despatch activities
- Ensure all goods are dispatched on time at a premium standard to meet customer expectations
- Handling problems as they arise in the best interest of the company and customers
The successful applicant must have a trade and/or production qualification with experience in sheet metal, operations or manufacturing is essential. Have noticeable experience in running multiple production lines and warehouse activities. Knowledge and experience in SAP and Lean manufacturing would be an advantage.
We are looking for someone with strong people management skills someone who can lead by example, is well organised, has clear written and verbal communication skills and is a strong problem solver.
