A really exciting opportunity has just become available to join an international apparel business at their headoffice in central Sydney.
Reporting to the Buyer, your accountability will be:
• Preparation and analysis of daily, weekly & monthly reports
• Provide seasonal analysis based on history of business and market trends
• Provide local order support & review based on established OTB
• Review and analysis of stock allocation.
• Provide commercial insight to range selection
• End of month reporting and analysis
• Set up and maintain buy templates, option plans and Top 10
• Markdown and transfer management, including communication to stores
• In conjunction with the Buyer, Operations and Visual Merchandise, establish, approve and assist with fortnight store visual execution
• Actively develop relationships with key stakeholders ie AM's & Store Managers through store visits and feedback reporting
• Work alongside VM and Marketing departments on promotional activities
• Coordination of store communication including responding to emails, memos etc
• Coordination of product samples for monthly range review
• Coordinate and management of wholesale merchandise cycle, including sample management, business files and spreadsheets
• Assist with mentoring, coaching and developing the Merchandise Assistant
• Act as a support and assist with Merchandise Assistant with shipping and logistics
• Act as a cross functional merchandise resource for standardise reports and proposing best practice
• Deputise for Buyer whilst on monthly buy trips or when on leave
The candidate:
High attention to detail
Ability to work with fast turnaounds and high volumes
Experience of working with structured planning systems
Ideally apparel experience with a global business
