My client, a leader in commercial banking and financial services, requires an experienced, high calibre, management professional to lead their ‘Engine Room’ facility; the logistical hub of the business.

Reporting to the Head of Direct Services, you will be in charge of a team of 24 staff (directly and indirectly) and of running a state of the art ‘Engine Room’ facility, which provides; a secure document management function, process efficiency, a strong service focus, cost effectiveness, greater paper independence and increased job satisfaction for employees.
Your role will involve the management of the following functions:
- Mail Management
- Couriers and Deliveries
- Other services such as managing the delivery of flowers, bread, milk etc
- Transactional Mail
To be successful in this role you will not be afraid to get your hands dirty. You will demonstrate substantial management experience and as such will be responsible for managing various internal and external stakeholders. You will display strong commercial acumen and experience in reporting.
You will be a ‘people’ person and will take pride in mentoring, coaching and developing your staff. Performance management and career planning will form a key focus of this role.
