Our client is an international law firm with a highly successful Competition practice group (one of the firm’s largest teams). Headed up by two very personable and friendly partners in Sydney, this group has been targeted for growth over the coming months and need a strong Competition specialist to work closely with them to achieve their goal.
Your experience will include large scale contentious matters, and will ideally include exposure to front-end commercial and adjudication work, including providing advice to clients and liaising/negotiating with the ACCC. You will also need experience with competition regulation throughout Asia or the interest in developing skills in this area.
This role will see you step up to a mentoring/supervisory role too in that you will assist the partners in mentoring and motivating the junior lawyers in the team. With the continuing growth of the group, you will have excellent opportunities for career development.
