Internationally renowned investment banking group with strong presence in ANZ with outstanding high-calibre in-house legal team.   New requirement for a senior funds, financial services or investment banking lawyer with a strong compliance and regulatory focus to join the team as a senior counsel.  

Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will provide strong legal support and advice to the various business units on the impact to the business of regulatory change - and development of compliance and risk plans as appropriate.   You will liaise closely with the compliance division as well as the risk and company secretarial functions to ensure the business is well prepared and can respond effectively..

You will be a senior lawyer of around 6-10 years + PQE, with a strong background in legal compliance or regulatory matters, preferably with good product or transactional exposure in funds or investment banking.   You should possess superb communication skills and be able to work closely with a fast-based internal client base.
