Our client, a dynamic, pioneering and diversified worldwide business, with a wide variety of consumer and business services, is truly a global market leader.

Due to business growth, an outstanding opportunity has arisen to join the existing legal function, as legal counsel, and assist with the business requirements across the APAC region. Reporting locally to the business and the senior legal counsel (APAC), this diverse role will incorporate the following;

-          negotiating and drafting a broad range of commercial contracts including distribution and licensing agreements

-          Advise on miscellaneous matters including Risk as required

-          ad hoc legal support to the business on a broad range of legal issues

-          management of regulatory issues in conjunction with the compliance department

The successful candidate will be working in a recognised law firm or in-house legal team and ideally with the following background;

-           3-4 years post admission experience gained predominantly in corporate/commercial work

-          exposure to technology issues would be viewed favourably

-          an understanding of, and an interest in, financial services and associated regulatory issues is desirable

-          strong commercial acumen

-          the ability to work alone or as part of a team

-          self motivation and the ability to balance various competing priorities and to meet urgent deadlines
