Strong mid-tier practice is expanding their Commercial Litigation team after a big client win.

This role is approximately 50% commercial litigation and 50% insolvency, although matters can include construction, major contract disputes, IP and more. The common thread is their complexity and the desire of the team to resolve disputes without recourse to litigation.

You will need a strong academic background, a recognised professional pedigree and well-developed problem-solving skills. Our client has requested someone with a "good sense of the law" so you will be able to quickly identify a range of potential legal issues. You should also have the confidence to express your opinion and ask questions of the partner.

The team is very sociable and interactive and so you could find yourself working with anyone else in the team, regardless of hierarchy.

The role could accommodate a junior level Senior Associate and also a 4 day working week.
