Senior Voice Consultant - Communication and Collaboration

  • Our client is currently recruiting experienced Senior Voice Consultants to join their Unified Communications and Collaboration Solution Group. Candidates will use their current voice expertise to assist customers with the integration of existing telephony platforms with Microsoft solutions. Candidates will be responsible for the integration of Cisco, Nortel and Avaya with Exchange 2007 Unified Messaging and Office Communications Server 2007 Enterprise Voice. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an individual to develop their skills with the new Microsoft Unified Communications solutions.

    You will require:

     
  • Proven design, planning and implementation experience with various VoIP platforms. Experience with Cisco Call ????? ?????, Unity and Presence server preferred.
  • Proven design, planning and implementation experience with Quality of Service services and hardware.
  • Proven design, planning and implantation experience with various telecommunications technologies. For example, QSIG, CAS, E&M TIE lines, ISDN PRI/BRI and T1/E1.
  • Experience with various IP and SIP enabled endpoints from various vendors.
  • Proven design, planning and implementation experience with Windows 2003 Server and services.
  • Proven design, planning and implementation experience with voicemail messaging systems and fax systems.
  • Proven design, planning and implementation experience with SIP gateways or native SIP trunking.
  • Experience in Nortel or Avaya telephony systems a plus.
  • Certified Convergence Technology Professional a plus.

    The position will also be responsible for the following:

  • Responsible for leadership and delivery of project based assignments that encompass system architecture, proof-of-concept and deployment services for Enterprise and Mid-Market customers.
  • Responsible for managing smaller projects or segments of larger projects. Has moderate to heavy contact with middle and senior level executives. Requires proven project management and methodology skills.
  • Support and lead solution group development initiatives through development of solution offerings, pre-sales support and marketing efforts.
  • Perform system reviews of client telephony environments and prepare findings documents outlining short and long-term strategies.
  • Facilitate and lead client configuration planning meetings for specific technology projects.
  • Strong customer relationship skills and willingness to lead customers through successful challenging projects.
  • Establish reputation as subject matter expert in assigned technology area.

    Business Requirements for Position:

  • Five years minimum experience in telephony and infrastructure technologies
  • Two years minimum consulting experience
  • Proven written and presentation skills to various audiences
