Business Analyst - Funds Management / Back or Middle-Office Funds Experience. Global Funds Management firm requires a Business Analyst to a project team working on portfolio services and investment solution and sales applications. Working as part of a QA team, the BA will be responsible which is responsible for all business requirement gathering/analysis and systems testing activities, as well as liaising with and providing support to users during User Acceptance Test.
Key Responsibilities -
Run workshops with business users to gather business requirements
Analyse business requirements and assist in project initiation activities
Develop use case requirement documents and walkthrough with business users and developers
Plan and execute system integration testing
Recognise issues, raise and analyse defects and escalate as appropriate
Plan and execute testing of system fixes on defects
Coordinate user acceptance testing with business users
Conduct training session with business users
Provide post implementation support to business as required
Required Skills & Experience -
Experience as a Business Analyst working on projects in a Funds Management IT environment
Experience & an understanding across business requirement gathering processes, workshops and techniques
Experience & an understanding of the full SDLC
Good problem solving and analytical skills
Experience with Funds Management Back Office systems, - Unit Registry and/or Unit Pricing systems
Experience working for a funds management business
Experience with portfolio management, unit registry and unit pricing systems.
