Java Application Developer

We are seeking an experienced programmer to assist in delivering ????? ????? 2.0 front end to specification for our client. Responsibilities would include design completion, development and testing.

The following skills are essential

Proven track record of experience in Java
Experience in development in 3-tier, enterprise level Java applications (Hibernate, Spring, Quartz and EJB 3.0)
Familiarity with web design, (Seam , Servlets, HTML, JSF).
Experience in Jboss administration would be advantageous

In addition, to succeed in this role you will have:

Experience in all phases of systems development
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure in providing timely and accurate solutions to systems problems
Positive attitude and be highly self motivated
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
Ability to work well either independently or in a team of business and technical staff
Previous experience working in financial markets sector
Desirable skills:
Experience in formal software engineering ????? ?????, including test-driven development, is important
Experience in delivery of data-intensive, time-critical web applications
