We are currently seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join the Integrated Network Operations (INO) division of Telstra Networks and Service Group. This is a supporting role to the INO management team with responsibilities for the implementation of performance initiatives across the entire INO organisation.  
 
The INO Technical Business Analyst will work with the INO technical groups to implement and manage solutions and systems that improve the performance of the business.   It is expected the holder of this role will bring ????? ????? of technical understanding of the technologies operated by INO to assist in implementing defined programs across our organisation.
 
Key Accountabilities:

• Complete business improvement project tasks in line with requirements outlined by INO Business Operations Manager
• Management and development of INO Management Toolset (reporting tools, databases and websites)
• Data mining and analysis of INO key data (technical and process) to identify potential opportunities for improvement.
• Reporting on compliance to operational processes throughout the business. 

 
Essential Attributes

• The ability to interact and influence peers, levels of management, staff and stakeholders.
• Well developed MS Excel skills.
• Well developed data management skills
• A solid technical understanding of the products operated by Telstra.
• A basic understanding of IP networking.
• A basic understanding of network management principles

 
Desirable Attributes 

• Understanding of INO and NS organisation, roles and responsibilities.
• Tertiary qualification in IT or similar curriculum.
• Tertiary qualification in Management or similar curriculum.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a website
• Interest in setting up and managing IT Systems for business management.
• An understanding of the systems used for management of operational and business performance in Telstra.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse and manipulate large amounts of data to drive business outcomes.
• Strong understanding of Telstra processes and policies relevant to individual contributors
• Demonstrated  ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Proactive focus - demonstrated ability to question the status quo and drive proactive change to achieve business outcomes
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate the value of deliverables and prioritise accordingly
• Basic understanding of ITIL

This role would ideally suit a candidate with an IT degree and business experience or  Business degree with IT experience.
