A leading telecommunications solutions provider is seeking a highly driven and experienced Business Development Manager who has a strong track record selling inbound/1300 toll free solutions and services to SME and Corparate targets across Australia & NZ. Applicants must have experience working for a smaller telco provider. Established for close to 15 years and employing close to 120 staff, my client is in need of an experienced toll free solution selling expert.
This position will require you to be responsible for developing strong customer relationships and opening opportunities to demonstrate and trial new product and solutions. In doing this you will work closely with senior management, marketing and HR to successfully drive the sales of the business across an exciting customer base.
To be successful you must have carrier or vendor telecommunications experience and must be able to demonstrate your carrier relationships. Previous experience working with toll free/telco organisation (s) would be highly desirable. In addition to this you must demonstrate the following;
- Experience in seeking new business opportunities within existing small and major accounts
- Exposure managing and negotiating long sales cycles
- Outstanding corporate communication skills and the ability to discuss requirements at C level
- Toll free solutions sales experience is essential
- Small business (Telco) experience
- Cold calling ability
- Inbound / 1300 sales experience
- 4+ years Australian market experience
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work with set targets
- Must have Australian Residence
- Outstanding achievements and proven track record

Salary range 50-80K base + Super + Commission. (Depending on experience)
