BMC Specialist

12 Month Contract

We are currently engaged in a significant Technology Transformation project that requires a Workflow Engineer for a 12 month contract. The prime focus is to improve the end customer experience through better stability, availability and quality of production environment.

Key accountabilities:

Design, Install, Configure and Implement Atrium CMDB 7.5 and Remedy ITSM 7.5 (Must have hands-on experience in Atrium CMDB, Remedy Asset Management, Service Desk, Change and Service Level Management Modules)
Work with peers to create high level, technical and integration design, implement overall management solutions, and emerge them into Enterprise Management design and solutions.
Customise Atrium CMDB by integrating with 3rd party applications, such as MS SCCM, Cisco LMS, IBM TADDM, SNMP Management Servers, SQL databases, etc.
Design and develop Atrium Reconciliation rules .
Develop and implement automations based on overall Enterprise Management and customer's requirements.
Prepare and present reports based on change, configuration, HW/SW inventory and Asset Management requirements.
Document BMC Atrium CMDB design, installations, configuration, and implementation procedures.

Essential requirements:

5 - 7 years of BMC Remedy, Atrium CMDB administration including software installation, configuration, patching and license management. Must have experience with Remedy 7.0 or higher.
3 years of experience in developing and customising BMC Atrium CMDB Common Data Model.
3 years of experience in integrating Atrium CMDB with other data repositories like MS SCCM, Cisco LMS, IBM TADDM etc. Experience must include data mapping using AIE and development of reconciliation rules using Atrium reconciliation engine.
3 years of experience in developing Remedy workflows
3 years experience utilizing one of the following or similar scripting languages: Perl, Bash/Ksh/Borne/C shell, Python, JavaScript, VBScript, Jscript.

Desired skills:

Remedy Approved Consultant (RAC) or Remedy Skilled Professional (RSP)
ITIL certifications
Application development using Eclipse platform.
Experience with Enterprise or Network Management Applications, such as, IBM Tivoli, CA Unicenter, HP Openview or EMC Smarts.
Experience with IBM Tivoli TADDM or other Similar Discovery Mapping Tools
Experience with Microsoft SCCM or SMS 2003
Experience with Cisco LMS

• Remedy Approved Consultant (RAC) or Remedy Skilled Professional (RSP)
• ITIL certifications
• Experience with Enterprise or Network Management Applications, such as, IBM Tivoli, CA Unicenter, HP Openview or EMC Smarts.
• Experience with IBM Tivoli TADDM or other Similar Discovery Mapping Tools
• Experience with Microsoft SCCM or Altirus
• Experience with Cisco LMS
