A Global Software organisation focused on providing data and software products, solutions and services are seeking a talented Pre-Sales Systems Engineer to join their Sydney based team.
As the Pre-Sales Systems Engineer you will be responsible for providing technical pre-sales support to the sales team. This includes providing expert consulting in anlayzing a client's requirements, recommending product solutions, optimizing performance and training partners and resellers.
Primary requirement is a strong pre-sales background in the Windows NT/Unix storage management environment.
Skills and Experience essential:
- Windows and/or Unix administration expertise is required.
- Strong customer relations skills
- Strong written, oral and presentational skills
Technical experience in the following areas desirable:
- Customer training
- MS Exchange, Sharepoint, SQL Server, Lotus Notes and Oracle
- UNIX systems administration
- Storage Infrastructure including NAS / SAN
Project management experience in solution development, system implementation and consulting is a plus.
