In this role you will provide pre-sales support in relation to the successful selling of security products and services that my client offers the market, Work closely with customers’ technical staff to favourably position products and services in the context of the customers’ technology environment and relevant to their business needs. You will develop very strong business relationships with customers and business partners as well as also be responsible for providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education to the sales team. Primary Responsibilities Provide consultation, training and sales support services for the product range to partners or direct to customers on-site or by telephone, taking technical responsibility.Conduct in-depth research on customer business requirement related to security products and services.Co-ordinate and attend regular customer review meetings and roadmap presentationsConduct product education for the sales team on key features and differentiatorsUndertaking tasks requiring ????? ????? analysis, diagnosis and problem solving, qualifying the product fit and defining support needs.Ensuring ????? ????? achievement, customer satisfaction and image enhancement through delivery of the highest quality pre-sales technical support and through knowledge of product line specifications, performance criteria and applications.Essential Skills and AttributesPrevious experience in a customer facing technical position. Able to conduct different presentations for different audiencesCan actively contribute to and run whiteboard network topology sessionsProblem solving skills and goal oriented approach, i.e. results drivenIs a recognised technical specialist in the relevant technologies: IT/Network managementNetworking methodologies and protocolsCurrent Microsoft, Novell and Unix operating systemsNetwork systems integrationUnderstanding of the OSI modelKnowledge of one or more current productsYou will hold all of the above with a minimum of 6 – 8 years work experience in a technical role and Industry technical qualification at a high level e.g. MCSE, MCNE, Cisco Engineer is very highly sought.
