Support Manager / Senior Applications Support Manager - Global Equities/Derivatives applications enviornment - Financial Services / Investment Banking. Large global Equities IT enterprise applications / operations support area within this leading global banking & financial services firm requires a Senior Support Manager.

The Role - Manage, mentor and oversee a team of application support analysts / support ap's (between 10 and 15 globally) supporting a range of enterprise banking applications. The team provides a high standard of technical support to the business, planning the team's workload and ensuring ????? ????? logged appropriately.

Required Skills & Experience -  

• 5 + years Applications Support / Operational Support Management experience gained in an enterprise, blue-chip technology environment (ideally 1000 + users base) ie. Investment Banking, Funds Management, Retail Financial Services, Insurance, Telco, Consulting, Software Houses etc
• An understanding and grounding in the ITIL operational framework
• Proven track record of technology team lead or team management experience
• Experience with management and support of mission critical system
• This is a Senior Support Management role, therefore only candidates with a proven track record in blue-chip application support management (not infrastructure) will be considered
• Top class verbal and written communication and stakeholder engagment/influencing skills also imperative
• Prior Financial Markets / Investment Banking support management experience of benefit, particularly in an Equities &/or Derivatives environment, however a top class blue-chip support management track record will suffice
• Exposure to IRESS, Broker, Imagine, Fidessa, Orc, GL Trade or similar - of benefit - as is experience with exchnage connectivity - ASX, SFE or simialr and FIX connectivity.
