This exciting role is a newly created one and is part of their senior management team, reporting into the company executives. Its focus is the management of key international carrier relationships to drive international data sales, providing strategy, pricing, forecasting and analysis, with P&L responsibility. It has one direct report.
Responsibilities will include:
- International Carrier Relations, including commercial, price and SLA negotiations
- Strategy around profit enhancement, carrier mix and cost efficiencies
- Sales Management and support, including deal margin management and marketing campaigns
- Product development and network design strategy
- Focus on revenue growth, driving GP and Ebitda
- Customer engagement
To be successful in the role you must:
- Have at least 5 years of experience in telecommunications, with experience in a senior capacity
- Have relevant tertiary qualifications
- Have a strong understanding of wholesale telecommunications, carrier relations or vendor management
- Have excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Have exceptional negotiating skills, with the ability to drive outcomes effectively
- Have outstanding relationship building skills with the ability to operate effectively at a senior level
- Have excellent analytical skills
This is a key challenging senior role with a high level of accountability and autonomy.
