Leading financial services client requires the experience and foresight of a professional and innovative Business Services Manager to help plan and direct the business through a substantial period of success and subsequent growth.
As Business Services Manager you will work as part of the senior leadership team to ensure the delivery of mission critical IT Services across a multi-platform, multi-application technical domain within Investment Banking or Treasury. This will include up keep of all major financial, functional and technical systems and adherence to all IT policies, methodologies, processes, and procedures. Please note my client is a specialised, but growing Investment Bank and as such requires specific experience in the area of font to back office support. Knowledge of/or experience with a host of financial applications including Reuters Kondor, SimCorp's Dimension, JDE, Micropay, Mantis and Midas (or similar) is essential!!

- Extensive experience managing complex multi platform (Windows, Unix) ERP/STP environments within Financial Services
- Knowledge of/or experience with a host of financial applications including Reuters Kondor, SimCorp's Dimension, JDE, Micropay, Mantis and Midas.
- Extensive experience managing systems or project managing ERP or STP implementations or large in house built applications for financial services
- Experience as an ERP or STP system functional or technical consultant
- Experience as a Business analyst - technical or business
- Experience with MS Project Office
- Experience working in structured IT environments with PMM and SDLC methodologies
- Degree in computing and/or accounting
- Experience of financial instruments( bonds in particular) and financial markets
Responsibilities of this role will include;
- Defining and documenting the IT services delivered to the business
- Ensuring ????? ????? business processes are supported and fully documented and linked to the relevant defined IT service.
- Set realistic service level agreements with each client for each IT service delivered and provide adequate reporting and monitoring ????? ????? to these SLAs.
- Ensure that the architecture necessary to support the delivery of such services is fully documented
- Report on IT related costs (infrastructure costs, licensing costs of software, hardware, licensing maintenance costs, costs of application changes/enhancements, upgrades of hardware, upgrades of software, users support costs, security costs, administrative costs, network costs)
- Ensure the quality and integrity of the data is maintained both for current data and archived data
- Ensure that performance of the system is acceptable to the business and to IT
- Ensure that all DEV, TST and UAT environments exist and are correctly managed, controlled and monitored.
- Ensure that all batch jobs relating to your service delivery are scheduled correctly
- Manage, plan, direct and secure technical and development resources when needed to meet company objectives
- Manage all vendor relationships and billings relating to the applications
- Determine and document the DR strategy, plan and procedures necessary to support the applications within your remit
- Carry out DR testing for your applications
