Network Support Engineer - 24x7 shift - MUST be an Australian Citizen

    In this role you will be responsible for:

     
  • Shift work on 24x7 roster basis
  • Monitor ongoing operations and performance with management tools set to anticipate problems and act on issues when flagged
  • Level 1 technical support for fault resolution, qualify problems and perform preliminary diagnosis
  • Pro-active monitoring ????? ????? NOC and managed customers infrastructure
  • To take ownership of problems for the customer from the opening of a problem ticket through to final resolution and closure
  • Escalate problems as required
  • Schedule changes with the customer
  • Handles orders for services provisioning
  • Install and Configure Win2K, Unix Servers, Firewalls and Networking equipment

    To be successful you will need skills and knowledge in the following:

     

  • Knowledge of Windows and Unix operating systems
  • Knowledge of IP Networking
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN Networks and protocols
  • Knowledge of Firewalls is an advantage
