CONTRACT - NOC Support Engineer - IMMEDIATE START!!!!

  • Minimum 3-month contract

    The main purpose of this role is to manage the complex network with skills and responsiveness with the following day to day duties and responsibilities:

  • Shift work on 24x7 roster basis
  • Hands-on role
  • First technical escalation point for customers
  • Schedule changes with the customer
  • Troubleshoot complex Windows environment
  • Troubleshoot complex Unix environment
  • Troubleshoot multiple vendor firewalls
  • Troubleshoot IP & Internet network related issues
  • Process the issues reported to the team
  • Pro-active monitoring ????? ????? NOC and managed customers infrastructure
  • To take ownership of problems for the customer from the opening of a problem

  • IP Networking Configurations and Troubleshooting
  • Advanced Windows skills
  • UNIX – Solaris, RedHat, postfix, BIND, Apache, anti spam services
  • Working experience in Internet services and operations
  • DNS, Mail
  • Security (Firewalls, Antivirus, SPAM, IDS)
  • Excellent Analytical Skills
  • Team Player
  • Good Communication Skills
