Mobile entertainment innovator requires an experienced Lead Developer with strong engineering and systems administrations skills to provide technical leadership to a team of experienced developers, DBA's and system administrators.
 
The role will see you take ownership of application development (LAMP), staging, hosting and infrastructure support ensuring the smooth running of mission critical production systems.
 
Responsibilities/skills include;

• LAMP Development with particular emphasis on Perl and PHP (Joomla/Drupal CMS)
• Strong understanding and appreciation of open source technologies
• Strong command line scripting experience.
• Bug fixing for new code release.
• Input into Social Networking features, a new mobile platform and ongoing enhancements to existing systems.
• Deployment of staging and productions changes using a combination of source control systems.
• Project and site rollout management.

This role will suit a strong Software Engineer/Systems Administrator with extensive exposure to the full SDLC. Previous exposure to large scale sites with a focus on scalability and optimisation is essential, as is experience working with mission critical production systems.
