Support Analyst/ Application Support Analyst - Unix, SQL and/or Java/OO or C#.Net problem solving - Front Office Trading Technology Areas - Equities & Futures / Derivatives areas - Global Investment Bank - Cross Train In Calypso. Equities Technology area of this leading global Investment Banking & Financial Services firm requires a talented, driven Support Analyst to join a global support team supporting the high profile Calypso trading system.  
  
This opportunity will see the Support Analyst working across a broad range of Java, Unix and SQL based front, middle & back-office systems for trading & trade processing. The suitable candidate MUST be comfortable and experienced providing sophisticated, high demand applications support to business users in a high profile blue-chip technology environment.  
  
To be successful in your new role, you will need to meet the following criteria:  

• Application support experience in a large corporate blue-chip technology environment
• SQL coding skills in Sybase, Oracle or SQL Server - including stored procedures and triggers
• UNIX scripting skills - Shell / Korn or Perl or VBScript
• Some basic coding & de-bugging skills & experience in Java, C# . Net, C++ or a similar OO languages
• Any experience working in a trading/financial markets technology environment will be seen as a significant advantage  

You would be expected to have a computing or engineering ????? ????? as well as outstanding written and verbal English communication skills. This role offers the opportunity to train up on, support and get involved in projects working with the industry leading Calypso trading system. Experienced financial markets Support Analyst contractors will also be considered for contract roles.
