Senior Business Analyst - Global Market Leader Financial Services Sector

Our client are in the process of a major transformation of their business environment including the integration and replacement of a number of core business systems. This commitment has provided an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join their  IT solutions team to support in all relevant activities to meet the objectives of the business. The role will have a level of autonomy and scope to have influence and direction on project initiatives whilst working in a dynamic fast paced environment.

As a Senior Business Analyst your responsibilities will include

• Engagement with business representatives / stakeholders 
• Facilitate work shops and one on one sessions  
• Review and analysis of processes and systems - recommend solutions
• Process mapping / documentation  
• Create business requirement specifications / functional design documents
• Liaise with business and IT through all phases of the SDLC
• Coordinate and assist with UAT phases
• Coordinate and assist with training activities

Suitable candidates will need to demonstrate

• 5 years + experience operating as a Business Analyst
• Experience across all facets of business analysis - process mapping / requirements gathering / functional specifications
• Excellent documentation skills and attention to detail
• Previous experience gained implementing software solutions / internal / Vendor based within a Corporate Environment
• Previous experience gained within the Financial Services Industry 
• Strong MS Office / Visio skills - knowledge of UML / agile would be useful
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
