Business Analyst - Financial Services Sector – Excellent Career Opportunity

Due to a number of new project initiatives and an on-going commitment to improve technology and processes our client has an excellent opportunity for a Business Analyst to join their Systems Group.

Working within a team of Analysts your responsibilities will include

• Engagement with business stakeholders Project Managers and IT ( Internal / Vendors)
•  Review and analysis of existing processes and systems
• Provide suggestions and recommendations for improvements
• Create business requirement specifications / functional design documents
• Liaise with business and IT through all phases of the SDLC
• Coordinate and assist with UAT phases
• Coordinate and assist with training activities

Suitable candidates will need to demonstrate

• 3-5 years previous experience operating as a Business Analyst
• Strong understanding of each phase of the SDLC
• Excellent documentation skills – requirement specifications
• Previous experience gained implementing software solutions within a Corporate Environment
• Previous experience gained within the Financial Services Industry – In particular Wealth Management would be highly regarded but NOT ESSENTIAL
• Strong MS Office / Visio skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
