Senior J2EE Developer

This market leading media business seeks a Senior J2EE Developer to bolster their development function. As they continue to work on new products, new releases and enhancements they are looking to grow the team and potentially identify a 2IC to the Development Manager.
 
The role:
As a Senior J2EE Developer you will be responsible for one of the businesses core products; this will include product development and enhancements as well as maintenance.
 
You will be joining a close knit team operating in an Agile environment. To compliment the team you must be familiar with the SCRUM methodology, peer programming and must have the confidence to work on your own.
 
Essential skills needed:

• Solid understanding of the J2EE stack
• Strong experience with Spring ????? ?????
• Deep architectural understanding of Java web applications
• Have the ability to think outside the box
• You will be a superior developer and you are currently the 'go to person' with any Java related problems

 
Additional requirements:

• Strong leadership skills
• There are no substitutes for outstanding communication skills
• Drive, passion and enthusiasm are essential
