A major player in the Life Insurance market in Australia has a vacancy in their claims department for a Group Life claims administrator. This is an excellent opportunity to join an organisation that has a strong name in the market and is rapidly growing.
As a claims administrator you will be responsible for the administration and reporting of a portfolio of claims. This is a very interesting role and some of your responsibilities will include liaising with the assessors and the claimants, ensure all medical information is received and claim forms are correct, arranging payments, maintaining records as well as ensuring follow ups are done.
To be successful it is essential that you have experience working in a life insurance administration environment and have a good all round understanding of the claims process. Strong communication skills along with the ability to work to deadlines and a good attention to detail are sought after.
