Our client, a sector leading Workers Compensation insurer, is looking to add a skilled Insurance Business Development professional to their operations.  The role represents a great chance to enter the BDM area and join a team and company that goes from strength to strength!

Reporting to the Business Development Manager, the role requires the ability to be able to seek, manage and deliver new business opportunities, in line with the company philosophy, as well as manage and develop existing accounts.
The role would require you to be out of the office around 2 days a week normally, but at busy times this will increase, even up to most of the time at peak periods. Due to this, the ideal candidate needs to be very well organised, self-driven and happy to be able to change to meet client needs or new demands quickly, such is the nature of what is a sales focused role.  Backgrounds of interest are Broking, Account Management and Sales within the Insurance sector.

Other key attributes for the role would be :-
*Excellent communication skills (oral / written) backed by strong presentation skills and an ability to offer and deliver a quality service on behalf of the company.
*Superb Client Relationship and Negotiation skills, backed by Account Management abilities.
*Strong Insurance background / knowledge developed over a number of years, while Workers Compensation experience and understanding around the legislation and premium rating systems in place would be highly desirable, but not essential.
*A current / clean drivers licence and own vehicle available to use (all work expenses will be reimbursed).
