Conduit Recruitment is a specialist agency working within the Construction, Property and Engineering ????? ????? the built environment. Our clients are worldwide but mainly in Australia, UK, Middle East and Hong Kong. We are known as experts within the industry and our ties with relevant associations are strong and strategic.
We are currently looking for a Recruitment Consultant to manage a Civil Building desk as part of our Construction Team in Sydney. Clients will include top tier Civil Contractors as well as Specialist Civil Builders & Subcontractors throughout Australia and the UAE. Candidate professions will include :
- Project Managers
- Site Managers
- Operations Managers
- Commercial Managers
- OH&S Managers
- etc etc
Reporting to the Managing Director you will be responsible for:
- building new and existing relationships with private consultants and government departments across Australia
- hitting measured sales targets such as prospect calls, client visits, candidate interviews and the resultant placements
- securing ????? ????? and sourcing relevant candidates
- attending industry networking events
- arranging international campaigns for offshore candidates
- creating and posting print and on-line media adverts
- helping the Director execute the sponsorship budget and PR drive across relevent industry institutions and media outlets
The desk is a hybrid status and will include permanent and contract placements.
We are looking for an experienced recruitment consultant that has experience within the Civil Construction arena or at least within the construction and property sectors. In this current market an existing network of established clients is essential.
As someone with drive and ambition you will have:
- experience as a recruitment consultant within the construction environment and ideally with a track record within civil construction in Australia
- polished presentation skills and personal pride in your business attire
- excellent references that back up your skills, experience and results
- a desire to build a niche for yourself in the Australian construction recruitment market sector
- a passion for the recruitment and construction industry that is obvious and contagious

Your remuneration will be a mix of base salary and performance bonus paid and settled on a quarterly basis. The level of this package will be determined by your previous experience in the Australian market.
