With responsibility for ensuring ????? ????? relevance of the overall safety management and training system across Australia, and the Asia Pacific region, this diverse position also embraces ISO certification and the audit programme.
The Role
This newly created position reports to the EHS & Training Manager, Asia Pacific and will allow you to use your extensive safety knowledge and experience to engage the business and ensure the systems are relevant and utilised. You would also be working as part of a small corporate EHS&T team to help drive improvements across the region.
To be successful, you will have:
- Effective verbal, written communication and engagement skills along with the ability to cope with competing priorities
- A thorough knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations
- Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Extensive experience in the design and implementation of safety management systems ideally to ISO18001 / 4801 standards.
- The ability to analyse, interpret and report performance and risk trends.
Audit qualifications and an understanding of risk management principles are highly desirable.
