Senior ER/IR Advisor
Due to our success and our companys growth, we require a knowledgeable and motivated individual to join the HR team in this mission critical role.
Reporting to the Group GM of HR, you will provide operational and strategic advice to our Senior Managers to ensure the timely resolution of employee related issues as well as identify and implement initiatives that improve the management of our teams.
This crucial role requires liaison and a collaborative approach with all Divisions within the Company and also the local communities. In addition, there will be travel to our various sites across the state to fast track your career by gaining experience on current projects.
Responsibilities include:
Assisting with the development of policies and procedures;
Developing and negotiating workplace agreements;
Providing leadership in ER/IR and matters
Providing advice, advocacy and specialist expertise regarding IR issues;
Providing information for inclusion in proposals and tenders;
Monitoring ????? ????? each project agreement;
Assisting on various project specific training programmes;
Promoting safety as a priority and ensuring ????? ????? HSE policies.
Experience:
Effective written and verbal communication skills;
Tertiary Qualifications in Human Resources/Industrial Relations
Experience in dealing with various unions within building construction sector;
Sound organisational skills and leadership and management experience;
An extensive understanding of current legislation
Experience working on site in a similar role
The ability to write ER/IR policies and procedures is essential; and
A demonstrated ability to implement change through support of and commitment to business improvement.
