A rare opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager to work at the most iconic location in Sydney. Our client is a service provider and the Operations Manager will have full day to day, hands on operational responsibility for the provision of operations and guest services to support the client. Working as part of a broader management team, you will ensure that overall performance targets are achieved in relation to service quality, business and customer expectations. Key result areas are:
- You will develop and implement strategies to meet client service requirements and maintain a dynamic and committed continuous improvement approach.
- Ensure guests to the site meet safety regulations and staff can act as an information source for Sydney attractions.
- Be responsible for the cost effective rostering of full time and casual staff levels.
- You will ensure an accurate stocktake is undertaken on a quarterly basis along with management and maintenance of all equipment.
- Work with Managers to provide P&L statements and ensure the business is operated within budget parameters.
This iconic venue is a major customer of the business and as such warrants a dedicated resource based on site to monitor and control the service aspects along with all HR and financial responsibilities. It is an autonomous role that requires a disciplined, structured and customer focused individual.
