Territory Sales Specialist - High Tech Medical Devices & Implants

  • $70-80k base + $40k+ OT commission + $20k car allowance
  • This highly prestigious client is a well respected and highly innovative medical company that develops, manufactures and supplies highly advanced and specialised devices to the World.  Their process innovates and delivers on complex procedures, setting a platform for new technology into the general surgery, wound access, diagnostic and Interventional market.  A name that is synonymous with success based on the commitment to its people, leadership, excellence and innovation.

    Realising significant market growth, the need to expand one of its primary divisions has arisen.. For this highly pivotal role, we are seeking to appoint energetic and clinically aware professionals to join this highly successful business. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Responsible for generating market share and market share growth for innovative products in designated territory to targeted specialized physicians. 
    • Representatives will make selling presentations by direct, personal sales calls and meetings with physicians and other hospital personnel.   
    • Required to follow all established Territory Sales Policies, and timely completion of maintenance of Outlook calendar weekly, quarterly business plans and monthly expense reports. 
    • Must utilise resources, and create positive/professional impression. 
    • Attend selected national and regional medical device trade shows and any Regional or National Sales Meetings, as required. 

    SKILLS / EXPERIENCE 

    • Tertiary Degree or equivalent related experience.
    • 2+ years experience in Medical/Surgical device products, nursing experience ideal but not essential.
    • Proven self-starter and team player willing to learn, travel and work with long distance direct supervision.  
    • Proven sales/persuasion skills. 
    • Effective communication skills and demonstrated leadership abilities. 
    • Account management experience.
