In this highly pivotal role you will be primarily focused on demonstrating medical devices, selling and service support, with a key focus on developing the business within the defined territory. The portfolio consists of top of the line surgical systems, medical devices and minimal invasive procedure - Catheters, Coils, Stents, Guidewires etc. Your role will be to expand the market, product usage rate and sales by establishing regular contact with Key specialists and Clinicians.
Key Responsbilities
- Establish and develop unified relationships whilst providing outstanding customer support and service
- Set up trials and manage all aspects of the sale/contract negotiation
- Develop a strategic plan to investigate new business opportunities
- Generate market share growth for innovative products within designated territory
- Proactively supply information on new products and new surgical techniques
- Conduct workshop demonstrations for groups of surgeons or theatre staff.
- Utilise resources, and create positive/professional impression.
As the ideal candidate, you will have proven track record in hospital selling, whether it be pharmaceuticals and/or medical device/equipment. Product training will be provided, however a sound understanding of the market and sales process is essential. You must also display a sound degree of professionalism, business acumen and the ability to problem solve in a theatre environment. Although you enjoy working in a team you will also be able to work autonomously as you grow the business. Working with many different levels of health care professionals your communication and negotiation skills will be exceptional. Nursing or general science degree is an advantage with qualifications in business, marketing or health sciences being looked upon favorably.
