Our client is a diverse and rapidly growing publishing business producing books, magazines and new media products for a variety of market sectors. With an annual turn over reaching more than $45 million - this is a great opportunity for a junior to join a fast paced successful publishing firm!

The role of Account Manager is to generate revenue across all magazines, supplements, books and website. Your main focus will be to work together with other members of the sales team to ensure revenue targets are continuously met.

Key Areas of Responsibility

" Generating advertising revenue for the magazine.

" Achieving sales targets on the magazine, supplements, website and Expo.

" Continuously prospecting for new business and establishing good relationships with current and prospective advertisers.

" Working in conjunction with the National Advertising Manager to initiate and develop ideas to generate new advertising streams across the portfolio.

" Working with the Advertising Sales Co-ordinators and Production Manager to ensure bookings are followed through, and material is collected efficiently from clients.

" Preparing ????? ????? reports and attending regular sales meetings.

" Maintaining a database of current and potential advertisers.

" Keeping abreast of activities in the industry as they impact advertisers.

Our client is looking for someone who has recently completed a University Degree and who has a strong interest in both Publishing and sales. To be selected for this role you must be able to demonstrate the following skills:
