A Premium Financial Services Institution is looking for a Margin Lending Settlements Manager following the previous incumbents move into the Business.
 
Duties include:
 
 
• Oversee the settlement of cash, equities, managed funds & derivative products
• Manage the team leaders & over see the development of the junior members of the team
• Take an active role in the risk and control project within the business
• Manage the relationships with the business and other internal stakeholders such as Risk & Control, IT and Legal.
• Take an active role in growing the team in terms of personnel and skill-sets to provide more value add services
• Take an active role in acquisitions to the book and provide operational insight into due diligence and possible migrations.
 
Requirements include:
 

• Direct experience to either Margin Lending, Equities and /or Managed Funds
• At least two years experience of managing people
• At least 5 years financial markets experience
• The ability to manage relationships & expectations with demanding stakeholders
• Project management experience beneficial
• Exposure to Account Mapping Tables desirable
• Knowledge of Smartstream, Checkfree or Intellimatch beneficial
• Ability to re-engineer a process from initial problem analysis through to solution implementation.
• Strong organizational skills
• Impeccable communications both written and verbal
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously
