Work with global player in Investment Banking

An experienced and professional VBA Macro programmer is required by this global Investment Bank to work with a small, yet specialised team delivering ????? ????? to the great business.

 

To excel in this role you should have the ability to write programs and scripts to automate administrative tasks and troubleshoot production problems in a Windows/Unix application environment. The successful candidate will preferably have a background in Financial Services and have a solid understanding of operating in a busy trade floor/financial environment
 
Your skill set should include a minimum of 2-3 years windows application development experience using VB, VBA and VB.Net over Access and Excel, extensive exposure to Excel Macros and a deep appreciation of SQL (T-SQL).

 

Working in a live production environment you will need to work under extreme pressure and support a host of mission critical real time applications.

 

This is an initial 3 month contract with a view to a permanent position after a successful qualifying contract, Immediate start required.

 

This post would suit either an experienced Support Analyst who wants to work with an exceptional team and develop further or a more junior analyst who wishes to grow and develop with a progressive organisation.
