An Investment Bank is looking for a Senior Manager for Group Operational Risk to work on a bank wide minimum standards project - which will sponsor the individuals move to Director level.
Duties include: - Oversee and monitor bank wide operational risk frameworks
- Lead the targeted initiatives within the business
- Production of board level documentation and analysis
- Driving and facilitating operational risk throughout the bank including Advisory, Treasury, Equities, Funds Management & Capital Markets
- Overseas travel to the Asia Pac & American branches
- Manage application and interpretation of frameworks in conjunction with the business
- Production and maintenance of relationships with the business and operational risk functions embedded into the business
- Production of controls to trigger emerging issues
- Analysis of breaches and incidents
Requirements include: - Ability to free think
- Ability to present and deal with individuals at board level
- Professional accounting qualifications such as CA, CPA desirable
- Impeccable academics
- An understanding of Financial Services
- Ability to re-engineer a process from initial problem analysis through to solution implementation.
- Strong organizational skills
- Impeccable communications both written and verbal
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously
