Working closely with the Senior Compliance Manager as part of the Australia Legal and Compliance team, the role of Compliance Officer is to establish and maintain an appropriate compliance framework and culture, as well as provide a comprehensive monitoring and control service to the Global Asset Management business in Australia.  As a key compliance support to the business, your contribution will include:
    • Engage business partners and manage client relationships effectively
    • Provide compliance advice, participate in the implementation of legal developments and legislative changes
    • Maintain knowledge of legal, regulatory and corporate environment, awareness of industry and company best practice
    • Maintain, update and execute risk-based compliance monitoring programme, including system and process enhancement
    • Documentation of the firm's compliance rules, procedures and controls, preparation of periodic Compliance reporting
    • Ensure that breach reporting procedures are met
    • Enable new products and transactions meet regulatory requirements
    • Liaise with regulators, industry bodies, auditors and global counterparts
    • Support Anti-Money Laundering framework to ensure remains effective
With a degree in Economics, Business or Commerce, you'll have compliance monitoring or regulatory experience with an understanding of managed investment schemes and individually managed client arrangements, ideally gained from working with a Fund Manager, Regulator or Custodian.  
Flexible, proactive and team orientated, you have a track record in developing effective relationships with internal and external parties. You act with integrity and continually demonstrate respect for the diverse nature of others, their opinions and individual differences.
