    The expansion of Credit Risk Management is designed to deliver the following benefits:-

    • Improved analytical and decisioning capability for consumer risk product management
    • Development, implementation and monitoring ????? ????? strategies designed to leverage off existing systems information to identify risk, propensity to pay, reduce flow rates and ultimately lower the bad debt rates across all retail products
    • Proactively partnering ????? ????? units/stakeholders to optimise the risk/reward while enhancing the service and sales culture
    • Develop & interpret Collections reporting. Analyse & implement change based on findings.
    Purpose of the role:

    Assist to analyse, develop, recommend and implement retail collections strategies to optimise the risk/reward/return to the group.

    Responsibilities:

    • Recommend, develop, implement, monitor and challenge collections strategies across the delinquency life-cycle, including but not limited to: recovery, debt sale and forward flow agreements
    • Support the use of collection and recovery scorecards through reporting and analytics
    • Assist in the development and implementation of entry criteria for delinquent accounts based on analytical data
    • Assist with the analysis, development and implementation of champion/challenger strategies within collections through reporting and analytics
    • Provide assistance to collections executive management in dialler campaign management and optimisation collections systems
    Required Skills:

    • 1-4 years experience in or exposure to risk or collections analytics
    • 1-4 years experience across collections functions including strategy implementation, tactical decisions and rehabilitation processes.
    • Demonstrated understanding of collections dynamics and collector and customer behaviour.
    • SAS (Intermediate)
    • Understanding of the principles behind consumer credit policy and scorecard use.
